What is Homeschooling ??

Home-schooling is schooling your child at home. It is also known as home education
and is legal in several parts of the world, including the UK and the US.
There are many reasons people choose home-schooling but some common things
that drive this decision include:
• Dissatisfaction over the curriculum or method of teaching
• A desire to instil a specific worldview
• Providing flexibility for a child to pursue his/her passion
• Religious concerns
• School safety concerns
• A one to one approach
• Spend quality time with your children

Why is teaching from home better?

Some parents believe that teaching from home works better for them and their children for many different reasons. They prefer their kids to be taught under their
supervision in a safe environment. Also, some parents believe that the school system is not designed to measure their preferences, therefore we will aim to create a fully timetabled plans personalised to your child’s & specific needs and abilities. 

Who can home school?

Any child can be home schooled by their parent or guardian, as long as they are given a full-time education. The only exception is children with special educational needs (SEN) who are currently enrolled at a SEN school – if your child has SEN and you wish to home school them, you must seek permission from their school before you disenroll them.

What is the aim of Ayaat Learning?

Our system aims to support students to study from home in an Islamic manner and we will assist with providing extra help to strength their skills in mathematics, science and English.
Our aim is to provide the most suitable and up to date materials to suit all students with their learning journey and help them build a good balanced curriculum.

What is the code of conduct of AyaatLearning Online School ?

Please, ensure that you sit and explain the following guidelines/rules to your child. Thereby ensuring a more positive, learning environment for your child.
Following staff feedback and class observations, the following points have be highlighted and followed.
School Uniform:
#1 – All students are strongly recommended, to dress according to the rules, of our beautiful faith.
Girls – Encouraged to wear a hijab, of any colour. All parts of their body to be covered while online. As camera’s will be required to remain on, during their school day.
BOYS – Suitable and appropriate clothes, with no images or logos. Plain coloured would be ideal. Gamees if they have one.
From SEPTEMBER (next School year) this will be a compulsary requirement.
2# Hairstyles and Haircuts – Within the boundaries of Islam. So, please keep this in mind when the times come, for your child, to have a haircut. Parents will be notified, of any concerns regarding this matter.
ONLINE:
3# Help your child to select appropriate backrounds, while doing their online sessions. Checks should be made that no distracting backgrounds are used. Scenes of Allahs nature, are generally suitable and have a calming effect.
COMMUNICATION:
4# Parents/Carers first point of contact is the Admin Team, Mrs Noor. She will happily set up an appointment, to discuss any matters, concerning your child.
Contact via the sessions, is strictly prohibited. Teachers have been advised to remind parents to go directly to the Admin Team.
5# Students found messaging other students via Chat, will receive a warning, followed by a message to their parents.
6# Students must be present during their session and respond to their teachers, immediately. Those students who fail to do so. Will risk being removed from their session.
Parents, will then be notified as soon as possible.
7# Snacking during sessions is not allowed. Water bottles are permitted.
8# Break times, should be used for any toilet breaks. Teachers have been asked to discourage students who are making a habit of requesting toilet breaks during the sessions.
If you are aware of any medical reason for your child. That will cause them to need more visits to the toilet, then please inform the Admin Team.
9# ALL students must be FULLY prepared with the correct equipment BEFORE the start of their day. Including a fully charged device for the day’s learning. Also all students must be sat properly and paying attention during all lessons.
10# Student’s should never be requested to carry out tasks by their parents etc during teaching hours.
This will have a negative impact on your child’s overall focus and concentration.
11# Background noise can have a major impacts on the student’s and teachers overall progress. Extra care and consideration must be taken. Students are asked to keep their microphone muted, due to at times unavoidable background noise.
12# We are aware that technical issues can occur at anytime. However, it is the responsibility of parents to notify the School of any internet/device issues. And the responsibility of parents to ensure their child has the best internet connection available to them.
13# Exchanging numbers, emails  or user names for a game is not allowed between students.

Where will you be teaching?


Our aim is to teach students from anywhere in the world from their home directly via Zoom.

What will students study?

Students will study different subjects such as:
English
Maths
Sciences
Islamic Studies
Arabic  

When is the last day to enroll ?

The last day to enrol is on the 31st July 2026.

Can my child choose one or two subjects only?

No, students must commit to the full programme of Ayaatlearning.

Does Ayaatlearning Follow the Government Holiday Schedule?

What age does Ayaatlearning offer their service to?

We offer lessons to students between the age of 5-16.

What are the fees?

The charge for this program will be £100 a month  per student for year 1-8.

£120 a month  per student for year 9-11

 

 

Do you offer a family discount?

We offer a 20% discount  when you enroll three or more children from your family.

 

Do you charge an admission fee?

To secure a place at AyaatLearning , you will be required to make your first payment for September by  the 10th August 2026 which is not refundable, however if you do change your mind by  the 17th August 2026 then you will be charged an admission fee of £60 and the remaining amount can be refunded to you.

Can I take my child off school for one month holiday?

We don’t encourage students taking time off during school terms, however parents have the full right to request this.

Will I be charged for taking my child off school during school terms?

You will not be charged the monthly fee if you are taking your child off school for a full month.

Parents must ensure to make a request for leave during school term giving the reason for the request. However, please note that the school cannot secure your child place. To reserve her/his place, the monthly payment will need to be paid in full.

*NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL*

The notice to leave school should be given 2 weeks at least before the new month starts.

 

 

Will you be giving certificates to students?

Children will learn at their own pace with no peer pressure and receive Certificates of Achievement to build their enthusiasm. However, to get the final certificate such as
GCSE, students must book to do their tests with a registered exam centre.

When will you start?

Year academy 2026/2027 will be  starting on Monday the 7th of September 2026. However, we are still taking registrations on availability.

How many days per week will you be giving classes?

 
We will be providing classes 4 days per week, from 9.00am-1.00pm Monday  9:00 am -01.00pm
Tuesday  9:00 am -01.00pm
Wednesday  9:00 am -01.00pm
Thursday  9:00 am -01.00pm
Friday  Day off

What tools/equipments do we need to join your online classes?

We highly recommend that you use a computer or laptop and have a strong WiFi connection.

Study space/desk set up

Please ensure that your child is sat in a space where the camera is facing a wall. This is to protect your family privacy and to avoid distracting the rest of the students.

This customised method not only provides notable benefits but also addresses several persistent issues encountered in traditional schooling

How will we obtain resources?

To further support families opting for remote learning, we offer subjects in accordance with the British National Curriculum. 
Once parents register for this service, all necessary resources—including lesson plans and materials will be  uploaded into Google drive/Google Classroom. 
This ensures that parents have timely access to everything needed for their child’s educational journey, making the process straightforward and convenient.

How does Ayaat Learning assess student’s progress?

At AyatLarning we will always aim to ensure that all students are assessed on aregular basis to ensure that they are gaining the skills of learning that they should
receive from each subject. As every child is different and each one will enjoy a different style of learning,  we will ensure to provide an enjoyable learning technique that suits and meets all their needs.
Students will be assessed during classes and through an assessment after each term.
This assessment is to help teachers with grade predictions and does not have any bearing on classes.

Is Ayaat Learning LTD registered in the UK?

Yes, our company is officially registered with the government: Company Number is 12507126

Does Ayaat Learning have a license from the Education Department?

As per to the guidance from the department of education we do not need permission to be teaching online.
We advise prospective parents to check their particular circumstances with their local authorities.

Can Y11 students sit for their final GCSE exams through Ayaatlearning?

Please note that Ayatlearning is not accredited to run GCSE/A LEVELS exams and parents are responsible to book the final GCSE exams with an official exam centre.

Which exam board does Ayaatlearning follow?

 We follow the following exam boards: 
 English- AQA 
 Maths- EDXCEL ( Higher Tier) 
 Science- EDXCEL (Foundation and Higher Tiers)

How can we have access to classes?


Once you are fully enrolled, you will be given a unique user name and password which will allow you to login to classes and have access to our learning materials.

Will Ayaatlearning give exams for students?

Yes, there will be internal tests, but parents will be responsible to book the Y11 GCSE exams with an official exam centre.

What distinguishes Ayaat Learning from others?

Ayaat Learning focuses on the main important materials such as English, Maths, Science. We don’t provide any educational materials about sex or Art.

Will homeschooling have a negative impact on my child’s social life?

Most researchers have found that being homeschooled does not harm children’s development of social skills. In fact, some research finds that homeschooled children score more highly than children who attend school on measurements of socialisation.
However, Ayaatlearning planing will involve some learning activities to get students engaged together.
